The Cloud Controller & Management Portal​

The enforza Cloud Controller is the component that the enforza Gateways connect to and establishes all control plane data - i.e. configuration, telemetry, alerting etc. Management of enforza Gateways is done through the enforza Controller, via the Management Portal where firewall policies, FQDN filtering policies and logging resides.

The Agent​

The enforza Agent is installed on an linux server in your environment, be it in cloud or on-prem. enforza is responsible for the Agent software; you are responsible for upgrading/updating the agent as/when you see fit, or when we advise (automatic updating will be released Q2/2025)

The Gateway​

The cloud or on-prem environment and the linux server (including the base Operating System) is your responsibility. You will need to patch, update packages etc. You are responsible for provisioning, backup of disks, configuration of virtual networks, subnets etc.
